Predictable results with guided surgery
Precisely positionable implants with ANKYLOS ExpertEase
Computer-aided implantation with ExpertEase is now also available for ANKYLOS C/X implants as well as for XiVE. Every implant can be precisely and securely placed with the aid of DENTSPLY Friadent’s guided surgery solution and the new ANKYLOS ExpertEase instruments. The ideal position for ANKYLOS implants (1 to 1.5 mm subcrestal) is accurately transferable to the patient mouth using the ExpertEase drilling template and the ANKYLOS guided surgery instruments.
DENTSPLY Friadent expands the range of clinically proven surgical instruments for implant insertion and augmentation and now configures the FRIOS straight and contra-angle handpieces to be even more user-friendly: The new FRIOS straight and contra-angle handpieces come equipped with an LED light that not only illuminates the dark oral cavity almost under daylight conditions, but, with an independent generator, no longer needs a separate power supply.
Stable prostheses in immediate and delayed loading
SynCone with 5° head geometry now available
The ANKYLOS SynCone concept is enhanced with some new features. The new abutments with 5 degree tapered angle provide for standardized head geometry for the maxilla and mandible. Additional abutment angulations raise flexibility. New taper caps with and without retention, as well as a cover screw for the straight abutment, round off the program. Discover the potential of bone ring transplantation
The implantologists Dr. Bernhard Giesenhagen and Dr. Orcan Yüksel offer ongoing clinical training on the bone ring technique on their new homepage www.bonering.de. Dentists working in implantology and maxillo-facial surgeons can also find out about the potential of this unique augmentation technique in live operations and hands-on courses. The bone ring technique allows vertical augmentation and implantation to be performed in a single step procedure. Compared with classical bone block augmentation, this technique reduces the patient’s treatment time by around five months.
